| Manager, Ultrasound Engineering - Pacific Northwest |
Description: Job Summary: Manage the daily tactical execution of programs and projects to meet deadlines. Maintain and manage budgets and schedules accordingly. Identify/fill resources needed in time to meet milestones. Develop personnel to become future technical and management leaders of the company. Manage the Ultrasound Engineering and Advanced Development groups. Continuously improve the image quality through signal path development. Drive research and development to identify ultrasound capabilities, solutions, platforms, and features for future products.
Key Responsibilities: Manage tactical execution of programs. Maintain budgets and schedules. Develop/implement plans to improve signal path image quality. Represent ultrasound integration and advanced development interests. Personnel development. Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system.
Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities: 10 years or more experience in the field of diagnostic ultrasound. 5 years or more experience as manager of several personnel. Familiarity with FDA requirements pertaining to diagnostic ultrasound machines. Advanced degree preferred. Broad knowledge base of ultrasound signaling, processing technologies, and/or end user needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Good verbal and written skills. Great interpersonal and team building skills. Manual dexterity for computer work.
