JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Applications Specialist will provide technical and clinical support in the Sales Process. Responsibilities will include demonstrating the full capabilities of the product with emphasis on the specific needs of the customer. Provide follow-up In-Service training to customer and support staff. Develop and maintain a customer training schedule working toward customer self-sufficiency and satisfaction. Personal organization and time management will be key in communicating with customers, team members and colleagues. Assist sales team in market and customer assessment. Attend meetings, interrelated courses and additional training to improve and further technological understanding in the field. Perform product demonstration at trade shows and conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have registration in one of the following: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), RVT (Registered Vascular Technician), RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer), or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer).
Two years of clinical experience in 2D, Doppler and color flow imaging. Demonstrated skills in radiology imaging, OB/GYN and vascular sonography. Must have exceptional presentation and training skills. A high capacity for organization and time management is a must in this field based position. Extended travel in and out of the region is required.
