Description:
The Ultrasound Clinical Specialist, Ultrasound provides pre-and/or post sales technical product advice for the development and implementation of customer solutions using the most advanced Intracardiac Echo (ICE) catheter. Provides installation support and post-sales consulting. Provides follow-up support to customers on the use of this catheter at their hospital during in-services or live cases. Define need and provide necessary initial on-site customer training including physician and support staff. Assess customer confidence and competence while actively advancing accounts toward achieving independence. Recommend and participate in additional customer training opportunities. Demonstrate a high level of skill and effectiveness in customer training activities. Develop and maintain collegial, collaborative and value-added relationships with customers, colleagues and all others as needed. Demonstrate and maintain a high degree of technical understanding of ICE and related ultrasound tools and technologies. Attend additional training events, courses, meetings to advance understanding in related areas of interest (electrophysiology, interventional cardiology). Demonstrate strong team commitment and positive attitude among colleagues.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in echocardiography is required. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification or eligibility to sit for certification is required. Associates Degree or equivalent work experience is highly preferred. Excellent presentation and training skills; outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills are required. Solid organizational and time management abilities required as this is a field-based position. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time in the region is required. Ability to lift 60 pounds is required. Ability to wear protective lead in the lab is required. A valid US driver license and clean driving record is required.
